Argentine President Alberto Fernandez announced on October 9 the extension of the quarantine in the country, the quarantine now totals 200 days. The quarantine in Argentina will be extended until October 25th. In the same speech, the President informed that the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area is starting to improve the numbers of infected people.
On the other hand, the quarantine will be stricter in other 18 districts, districts that, according to the president, are being affected by the coronavirus, among these districts are Córdoba, Santa Fe, Mendoza and Tucumán, where the cases have been growing since July.
The opening of borders is not yet foreseen.
