As confirmed by the Ministry of Tourism, Argentina expects domestic flights to resume in October. This represents a change in policy, where all flights were expected to resume September 1st. “That is the horizon with which we are working. Obviously the last word is always the Ministry of Health. It is an expectation, we are working towards that, but it is not a sure date,” they warned.
The frustration generated by the reversal on the date of September 1, initially indicated by the industry and the passengers as the restart of the activity, resulted in a blow to the ailing industry.
Both the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Health confirmed they are working together on a protocol for the reactivation of internal and international flights that will be presented to the president by the Minister of Health in the upcoming days.
