Brazil: Due to the Decrease in Infections, the Beaches of Rio de Janeiro Were Full During the Weekend

This past Sunday, the famous beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana were full, in defiance of the public health measures that the country’s authorities have imposed.

Brazil, with its more than 4.3 million confirmed positive cases, is the country with the third-highest number of victims from the pandemic, only behind the United States and India. Activity, such as social events and the reopening of museums, restaurant, and bars have already resumed.

Commerce has been completely normalized and, although limits have been set, crowds have already begun to show up on the streets.
