The acting Brazilian Minister of Health, Eduardo Pazuello, reported the launch of a new digital platform to provide updated information on the impact of COVID-19 in Brazil. This new platform will assign each death to the date of death and not to the notification date as it has been doing so far.

The Brazilian Ministry of Health has invested R $ 1.1 billion to finance the acquisition of 7,764 exclusive ICU beds for patients with COVID-19. Of the total, 241 are pediatric. This Thursday (4), 333 more beds were enabled. To guarantee assistance to the population, Brazilian public health has the support of 2,651 pulmonary ventilators delivered by the Brazilian Government, through the Ministry of Health. To all this, the minister affirmed that with the investment made in medical equipment and the experience acquired in the fight against COVID-19, Brazil is prepared to face the coming winter.
