Colombia, together with Argentina, has announced restrictive circulation and social isolation measures until at least September. This is mainly because the contagion curve continues to grow. And, although the capital city, Bogota, is the most affected district with 31,417 infections, other districts such as Barranquilla with 13,125, Cartagena with 8,370, or Cali with 7,803 also register a significant number of cases. On July 1, Colombia reported 4,163 new cases for a total of 102,009 to this day, and the death count is 3,470. Although the district of Atlántico has so far the second-highest rate of infections in Colombia, its acceleration indicates that the number of cases could exceed that of Bogota.
