March 30. Independent travel specialist Avanti Destinations and Costa Rica Tourism have launched a joint campaign to help advisors inspire FIT clients to take a customized vacation in Costa Rica. One of many Central and South American countries now open to American travelers, Costa Rica began welcoming U.S. tourists in November 2020.
The joint promotion consists of a new 62-page downloadable e-brochure, Experience Costa Rica, available on Avanti’s travel advisor portal; a microsite by clicking on Avanti Costa Rica; themed webinars, with two scheduled on April 8 and April 21, 2021; and a $25 gift card for travel advisors for each passenger booked to Costa Rica in 2021 and 2022 (details of the incentive are available on the advisor portal). As with all Avanti vacations, there are no fees for changes made 15 or more days prior to departure. Avanti sells custom-crafted FIT itineraries exclusively through travel advisors and not direct to consumers.
