Tourism Minister Gustavo Segura announced Thursday that as of September 1st, it will be expanding the list of U.S. states from which it will welcome tourists. The new states added are Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. On September 15; Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Colorado will be added to the list as well. The list currently includes the states of New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Connecticut. Negative results from a PCR test taken within 72 hours of the flight are required for all tourists.
