This week we had the pleasure of interview Dr. Oscar García who is part of the medical team of Allianz Mexico as supervisor.
He tells us from his point of view how the coronavirus has changed the travel and insurance industry, indicating that the most recent situation has been HIV, where people had great uncertainty about how the virus is transmitted and about the situation in general.
He indicates that the coronavirus has come directly to move and disrupt the economy.
After spending around 4 months with many restrictions for coordinate cases, and even to manage all of the outpatient consultations as part of the services that Allianz provides, patient, cases and policies are finally coming back. Resuming activities today means a proportional increase in costs, since all the protective equipment must be covered as they are basic.
Because of the situation they are experiencing due to the coronavirus, it has been decided to put much more emphasis on the automation of systems in order to provide telemedicine services, not only in Mexico but in all the countries where they have a presence.
