While some European countries reintroduced restrictions that have been relaxed after the initial quarantine, other countries began dealing with the 2nd wave via public education about how to live with the virus thru reinforcing personal measures.
France decided to close bars and restaurants at 10:00 PM in 11 key cities, including Paris, and limit gatherings to 10 people. In Madrid, people can leave their homes only for work, school, or medical care. The Spanish plan is led by the Armed Forces and reinforced by the Police. In Germany, public gatherings (such as public festivals, sporting events and concerts) are prohibited until the end of the year.
With the increase in infections in Italy, authorities ordered the closure of all nightclubs, bars and prohibit public gatherings, including outdoors. The return to school includes the mandatory use of masks for all children over the age of six.
