Guarulhos Airport (São Paulo) has seen a growth in traffic, but still down significantly fall compared to 2019.
Guarulhos Airport is slowly increasing in traffic, but with a considerable drop compared to the same month in 2019. With 7,200 landings and take-offs this July, this number represents 28.8% of volume over the prior year.
During the first seven months of 2020, the airport reported a 50% drop in the number of passengers. There were 24.3 million in the first seven months of 2019, while only 12 million embarked and disembarked in 2020 for that same period.
A promising trend highlights that July of this year demonstrated showing an 69.1% increase in passengers as compared to June, showing a glimmer of hope to the travel industry.
