The Jamaican government announced the update of the entry requirements last Tuesday, going into effect on August 20. It will only apply to US visitors ages 12 and older. The negative COVID-19 test result must be taken no longer than 10 days before arrival to Jamaica. Previously, only visitors from Arizona, Florida, New York, and Texas had to present the test result, but now the requirement has been extended to all the other states in the U.S.
