Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines has officially added another new route to the Caribbean from Miami. The schedule is geared for short-stay budget vacationers.
The company has continued its regional expansion with the launch of new thrice-weekly flights between Miami and the tourism hotspot of Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The new nonstop flights to the island are operating on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays, according to Frontier Airlines’ Web site.
“With pent-up demand for travel surfacing, there could not be a better time to launch this new nonstop service from Miami to Montego Bay, the thriving tourist capital of Jamaica,” said Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism Hon Edmund Bartlett. “We are happy to welcome Frontier and its passengers to our island which will only augur well for our arrivals and earnings.”
Jamaica is now the sixth country in Frontier’s route map.
