The largest hotel chain in the world has become the latest to announce a formalized offer of work from hotel packages, which have emerged as this year’s biggest trend due to the coronavirus.

Now, the Marriott is hoping that its members will be happy to book similar work from hotel packages as we head into winter and the fatigue of working from home takes hold. According to the chain, 42% of people in one survey said they would consider booking a work from hotel package for a variety of reasons, ranging from insufficient Wi-Fi at home to claustrophobia as a result of working in a confined, unsatisfying work space every day. Marriott aims to remedy some of that fatigue and attract guests back to its facilities by offering three different work from home packages: Day Pass, Stay Pass and Play Pass.

The world’s largest hotel chain admits that the concept of working from hotel will likely remain in place for quite some time. Many workers are still unsure when they will return to their offices, and as people continue to return to travel, it makes sense for them to continue to look for ways to change

The monotony of their daily routines by escaping to hotels, both in nearby and remote locations, to reboot their minds and bodies, increase focus and productivity, and even work on their tan in the process.
