On July 14, Mexico reported 7,051 new cases, a figure that positions Mexico as the country that reported the highest number of new cases in one day, having overtaken Russia with 6,422 and India with 4,143. Mexico has reached the figure of 311,486 positive cases and 36,327 deaths in total since the start of the pandemic. The most affected districts are Mexico City – 18.9% of cases -, the State of Mexico, Tabasco, and Puebla. Although Guanajuato does not have a high total number of cases, it does have the second-highest number of active cases, second only to DF. On the other hand, the availability of beds remains high, since from the 29,663 beds, 16,391 are still available and 13,272 are occupied. In other words, 45% of the beds are occupied.
