More than 500 Nicaraguans Stranded at the Border with Costa Rica

The Nicaraguan government has denied entry to more than 500 Nicaraguans returning home from Panama and Costa Rica. They were living in Panama and Costa Rica and due to the current employment crisis decided to go back to Nicaragua. But the government of Daniel Ortega requires a negative COVID-19 test result to enter the country and the cost of the test in Costa Rica is too expensive for the migrants. So far, the Nicaraguan government has denied assistance to the migrants.
