Turkish Airlines announced that it will increase operations to and from Panama starting today, going from 5 weekly flights to a daily frequency, which confirms the airline’s confidence in the Panamanian market and its great growth potential as a business and tourism destination in Latin America.
Raffoul Arab, general manager of the Tocumen International Airport, explained that this decision by Turkish Airlines allows the continuation of the reactivation of the tourism sector and the airline industry.
Following the suspension of international flight arrivals and departures in March 2020, Turkish Airlines resumed operations to and from Panama on November 1, 2020 with two weekly flights; Later, as of July 12, 2021, it increased to 5 services per week Istanbul-Bogota-Panama-Istanbul.
