PERU: End of The Mandatory Social Immobilization in Peru

The President of Peru, Martín Vizcarra, announced on September 16th new flexibility in the country’s highly restrictive quarantine, which implies an end to the social and obligatory immobilization on Sundays. This new stage of quarantine in Peru involves some restrictions, such as ban gatherings and a restriction of vehicle circulation on Sundays. The objective of the measures is to encourage people to engage in business and activities near their homes to reduce contact and transmission.
