Peru Has Reached Day 101 Of Quarantine

In the last 24 hours 3,879 new cases have been registered, which added to the previous ones give a total of 264,689, and of which 147,372 are located in the city of Lima. This makes Peru the seventh most affected nation in the world and the second in the region, second only to Brazil. The number of deceased amounts to 8,404 people, there are 10,599 hospitalized, 1,166 of them in ICU. The situation is critical and is generating a significant governance crisis, that is the main reason why until now the possibility of starting a reopening process has not even been mentioned.
