Beginning June 7, Puerto Rico will allow bard to open at 50 percent capacity, along with gaming rooms. Outdoor bars and “chinchorros” will not have a capacity limit, although a physical distance of six feet must be maintained between parties.
Capacity in business like malls, restaurants, casinos and theaters will increase to 75 percent, along with museums and hotel pools.
Other social activities, including business and corporate events, will be able to take place at 75 percent capacity, although attendees will need to provide a negative PCR or antigen test or proof of full vaccination.
Puerto Rico has also announced that visitors arriving at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport can receive a Johnson and Johnson vaccine in Terminal Ba. The country recently changed its entry protocols, waiving pre-testing requirements for fully vaccinated travelers.
