Through a marketing campaign the government of Puerto Vallarta seeks to bring travelers from the United States, Canada and Mexico

The idea to invest in tourism to return to the numbers they had before the pandemic. The government will have an exchange for 100 million pesos as an investment since Puerto Vallarta is one of the most important destinations for international travelers arriving in Mexico.

“Since May 18, in Jalisco, Phase 0 of economic reactivation began, through which businesses began to adopt protocols for opening with measures to reduce covid-19 infections.”

The state government enabled a digital platform for the registration of establishments and that they can obtain the opening badge once they validate the implementation of preventive measures.

Once they have the badge, service establishments, including restaurants, hotels and motels, can operate with some restrictions: the former with a maximum capacity of 50%, while the latter with closed common areas.

“Event rooms, casinos, recreational centers, spas or entertainment industries remain suspended until further notice,” says the Resilience Plan to the Jalisco Pandemic.
