Travel Insurance Gains Ground Amongst Younger Generations

Based on a research conducted by Squaremouth, buying trip insurance has become more common for people under 21 since the global pandemic started. Before the pandemic, only 11% of travelers under 21 years old bought travel insurance, while rising now to 25%.

But there are several other changes, for example, more than half of travel insurance policies were purchased by people over 50, now it is only about 40%. Also, the sale of policies with “Cancel for any reason” increased 210%, and policies that cover COVID-19 represent 40% of all the policies sold in these days.
