March 13. US domestic travel restrictions instituted in the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic have been nearly eliminated for trips within and between states and territories. However, the US Centers of Disease Control and Prevention suggests delaying travel until you are up to date with your Covid vaccines.
For people not making road trips, the CDC reminds people that wearing a mask over your nose and mouth is required when in indoor areas of public transportation.
If you do decide to travel to another US state or territory, you should still check out the latest guidance before you go, even if you’re fully vaccinated.
