Feb 26. Cruise ships have been adding more itineraries and taking travelers to explore the beautiful Mexican coasts. According to recent data shared by the Mexican government, in 2022, over 7 million cruise passengers visited the country.
The Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, reported that 2,666 cruise ships arrived on the Mexican coasts from January to December 2022. And 94.6% of visitors stopped at 6 main ports: Cozumel, Costa Maya, Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and Mazatlán.
